And just another of the many great uses for bi-carb is a remedy to stop the sting of GREEN ANT bites - those little buggers that spoil our summer! When your little - or big - one screams, you run to the kitchen and make a quick paste out of a spoonful of bi-carb and a few drops of water, then coat the bite area with it. You'll be so happy with the results! I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I believe it neutralises the acid in the ant's bite. Don't take my word for it, check out Janine's post here. xx

Thanks for sharing - I'll have to give the bi-carb a try as I do hate thinking about all those chemicals I use each day. I have tried vinegar before & it also works well, however when you do sweat, you do get a faint vinegar aroma!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a great week
